Rec’d this item in 8 days. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but I really needed a spine corrector. I was amazed at how well this spine corrector is made. Heavy solid wood product. Adequately padded. Two solid handles to perform exercises. A fantastic teaching record included in price– Well the price was incredible and, additionally, I did not pay shipping. I did not know the reviews from people who found this product inferior.

This is a fantastic step barrel for the price. It’s sturdy and comfortably padded. You can pay several times more for one from any of the major pilates apparatus manufacturers. The record (of course it should be a dvd) is quite excellent with instruction by Romana and some very well-known pilates instructors as the students.
Barrel exercises are challenging for the pilates neophyte and the pro.
