  • These things are awkward to handle and simply don’t work well. Bombard out the extra five bucks for some foam grips.

  • Nice inexpensive product for hand strength. The plastic handles could be a small larger but overall I am pleased with them. I keep one by the computer and one in the car. Handy!

  • I HAVE USED VALEO HAND GRIPS IN THE PAST AND FOUND THEM TO BE GOOD QUALITY AT AN INEXPENSIVE PRICE. YES, THEY WEAR OUT IF USED FIVE OR SIX TIMES A WEEK OVER A YEAR OR SO, BUT THEY DELIVER. MY SON, WHO IS A BLACK BELT IN HAPKIDO, AND I BOTH USE THESE AND FIND THAT THEY ARE GOOD FOR BOTH OF US IN DEVELOPING AND IMPROVING GRIP STRENGTH. THEY ARE AT ABOUT A MEDIUM LEVEL. NOT TOO EASY AND NOT TOO HARD. JUST ABOUT RIGHT FOR A PERSON WITH AN AVERAGE OR A LITTLE ABOVE GRIP STRENGTH TO STAY IN FORM OR DEVELOP FURTHER, DEPENDING UPON HOW MANY REPITITIONS YOU WANT TO DO.

  • I started my search for some excellent grip strengthening equipment a few months ago…It was a pathetic sight, surveillance me fight & fuss with various jars & bottles, who’s lids would just NOT come off for me!

First, I bought the blue & red Gripmaster Hand Grips from Amazon…they were incredible, but you progress owing to them so quickly, that they be converted into unchallenging after a couple weeks. So, As a substitution for of spending a further $12 on the black Gripmaster, I bought these Valeo Grips.

I’m not thrilled. To strengthen your hands and forearms, it is recommended that you go for more repetitions, rather than high resistance. It is impossible for me to do more than 3 sets of 15-20 squeezes with these because the resistance is so tough. The handles themselves are not conducive to more reps. Once your hands be converted into damp, they slide a bit, making it harder to squeeze and keep right form.

For someone more advanced, I’m sure these will be fine for you, but for those just starting on a strengthening routine, I’d avoid these for now.
